Play in more than one band under your nGage.band account? Then you know the drill: the same venue, booker or sound engineer typed in twice, and a phone number updated in one band but not in the other. That’s over. Contacts can now be shared between all the bands you own.
Here’s how it works:
- Switch it on once. In Relations → Settings, tick “Share contacts automatically between bands I own”. It’s off until you enable it, and only band owners see it.
- One contact, every band. Contacts from your other bands show up in the Relations list and in the pickers for gigs and invoices, with the name of the band they came from. Attach one to a gig or invoice and it becomes part of that band too. Name, email, phone and address stay in sync across your bands; notes and “suitable for this band” stay per band.
- You stay in control. Mark a contact “Private to this band” to keep it out of sharing. Want to pass a contact to another nGage.band band that isn’t yours? Share sends a one-off copy they can accept or decline.
Just like the calendar already checks dates across all your bands, your contacts now travel with you too.
