nGage Glow
A bit of decent stage lighting quickly costs a fortune.
DMX lights, cables, a lighting desk. There are also Bluetooth RGB LED lights, often used outdoors to light up a house. They are cheap, waterproof and sturdy.
With the free nGage Glow app, included with your nGage account, you can run 7 of those lights straight from your phone. Build scenes, link them to your setlist, and put a good-looking light show together for a few dozen euros. Need more lights? With a cheap add-on you can run up to 15 lights at once.
Our own rig is 12 lights. Including the extension dongle, we paid 120 euro in total.
Any Bluetooth RGB LED light that uses the ELK-BLEDOM or IOTBT protocol is compatible. If you come across another Bluetooth light, send us the link at support@ngage.band and we will see if we can make that light compatible too.
Lights that use Bluetooth mesh are not compatible.
The lights at the bottom of this page are ones we tested ourselves. If you use these links and buy a light, we get a small commission from Amazon. You can of course also order them another way, or from another seller.

What it does
Run the light show from your phone
Add lights, build scenes, place them on a stage plot, and change colour and brightness live.
A desk on a bigger screen
You can edit scenes on your computer with the nGage Glow module, under Tools. Your desktop can use your phone with the app open as a bridge. That way, you can have your light tech behind a laptop and work with the lights through your phone!
Cheap Bluetooth RGB LED floodlights
The system currently works with lights that use the ELK-BLEDOM protocol (and variants) and the IOTBT Bluetooth protocol. Bluetooth mesh lights are not compatible.
How it works
- Install nGage Glow on Android.
- Enter your nGage pairing code once.
- Scan and connect the lights.
- Build scenes and run the show from the phone.
