Delete my account

You can delete your account at any time. 

  1. Log in to your account at app.ngage.band or open de Android or iOs app on your device
  2. Go to My account > Cancel my account
  3. Click the Cancel my account button
  4. Type CANCEL ACCOUNT in the required field and click Continue
  5. Confirm your cancellation by clicking the Yes, cancel my account forever button

 

Be aware that this is irreversible. Your account and all of the data associated with it will be immediately and permanently deleted.

What happens when I cancel my account?

When you are the account owner:

All of your data, bands, uploads, subusers, basically all of your information will be permanently deleted.
Subusers that are also subusers or main users of other bands / accounts on nGage will not be deleted, just their association with your account will be removed along with your account. 

When you're a subuser (band member) of the account:

Your personal account data such as name, email, address and so on, will be deleted immediately and you will not be able to log in anymore. Any files that you uploaded to your band will remain in the main account since they are considered as belonging to the band.

Under Dutch tax law (Algemene wet inzake rijksbelastingen, art. 52), we are legally required to retain certain financial records for 7 years after the end of the calendar year in which they were created. This applies to:

  • Invoice data (name, address, invoice number, date, amount, description)
  • Payment transaction details (Mollie transaction ID, payment method, date, amount)
  • SEPA direct debit mandates

These records are archived separately and are only accessible for tax and accounting purposes. They are not used for any other purpose and are permanently deleted after the 7-year retention period expires.
