Contracts
Professional contracts. Ready before the gig is confirmed.
A handshake is fine most of the time. But sometimes, a signed contract is better. nGage.band lets you create, customise, and send performance contracts directly from the app — linked to your gigs and contacts, ready to download or send by email.
Start from a built-in template, adapt it to your situation, or build one from scratch. Your contracts, your terms.
What it does
Built-in templates
Start from a professionally structured example contract. The templates are designed for common performance situations and cover the essentials — dates, fees, cancellation terms, and more.
Fully customisable
Adjust any template to match your band’s needs, or build a contract completely from scratch. Every field, clause, and term is yours to edit.
Linked to gigs and relations
Attach a contract to a gig, a relation, or both. The relevant details — date, venue, fee, contact — are pulled in automatically.
Import external contracts
Already have a contract as a PDF or Word file? Import it and link it to a gig or relation, so everything stays in one place even if the contract originated outside nGage.
Download as PDF or send by email
Download a clean PDF to sign and return via your own workflow, or send it directly from the app using your band’s SMTP settings.
Standalone contracts
Not every contract belongs to a specific gig. Create standalone contracts for licensing, sponsorship, or any other band-related agreement.
How it works
- Create a contract — choose a template, or start from scratch.
- Fill in or adjust the details: parties, dates, fees, terms.
- Link it to a gig, a relation, or both — or keep it standalone.
- Download the PDF or send it by email directly from the app.
- The contract is stored in nGage, linked to everything it belongs to.
Templates
nGage includes ready-to-use contract templates for common performance situations. They’re designed to be complete and practical — covering the date, location, performance fee, payment terms, cancellation conditions, and responsibilities of both parties. Use them as-is, or as a starting point.
Customisation
Every part of a template can be edited. Add clauses, remove sections, change the language, adjust the structure. Or skip the templates entirely and write your own from scratch. Your contracts reflect your band’s agreements, not a generic default.
Linking to gigs and relations
Link a contract to a gig and the relevant details are pulled in automatically — date, venue, fee, linked relations. Link it to a relation and the contract appears in their contact history. Links work independently: a contract can be linked to a gig, a relation, both, or neither.
Importing external contracts
Received a contract from a venue or festival? Import it as a file and link it to the relevant gig or relation. It’s stored alongside your nGage-created contracts so your full contract history is always in one place.
